RAUSIKKO Block
Stormwater Management System
RAUSIKKO master
The RAUSIKKO master system lends itself primarily to stormwater infiltration and retention on newly
developed residential and industrial sites – covering large areas where high volumes of stormwater can
accumulate. RAUSIKKO master provides all the components for traditional trench and trough-infiltration
systems with coarse gravel, e.g. specially slotted infiltration pipes, various inspec-tion chamber systems,
manholes with integrated RAUSIKKO flow control system and non-wovens. Trenches, for example, are suitable
for stormwater run-off from roofs which, more or less clean, can completely filter away straight into the
ground. Trough infiltration trench systems can be positioned outside traffic and parking areas – with
stormwater of tolerable dirt content being sufficiently cleaned as it passes through the topsoil layer.
RAUSIKKO volume
This option is used primarily wherever space is in short supply. The honeycomb-structured element has
a storage capacity of 96%, i.e. approx. three times that of gravel. In addition to this high storage
capacity, the RAUSIKKO volume infiltration unit also has other advantages: an integrated perforated
pipe caters for the optimum distribution of water in the system, thereby ensuring prolonged,
unrestricted operational reliability. The inner pipe can also be flushed at high pressure without
restriction.
RAUSIKKO compact
Ensuring optimum, permanent infiltration despite its compact size, RAUSIKKO compact is a simple
modular system for single and multiple-family dwellings. Using RAUSIKKO volume infiltration units,
the system is installed quickly and easily. Three types of dirt filter are also available for
pre-cleaning stormwater. A straightforward rating diagram makes easy work of configuring the system.
